Chana Boteach was born in Oxford, England and moved to the States when she was young. She later emigrated to Israel and served in the Israeli army as a military liaison. Chana completed her B.A. in Political Science and History and planned to go into politics, but instead decided to dedicate herself to sexual politics.
She believes that sexuality has become impersonalized and devalued, resulting in loneliness, failure to connect and sexual boredom. She hopes to bring the wisdom of her father’s work and the erotic secrets of Judaism to a universal, 21st century audience and reclaim the true power of sexual intimacy.
Today, Chana serves as the CEO of the Kosher Sex Company and lives in Israel. You can find the brick and mortar store in Jerusalem, or visit the shop online.
